What insurance do you accept?
We accept several major commercial plans in Arizona and Oregon:
- Arizona & Oregon: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Cigna/Evernorth, UnitedHealthcare/Optum
- Oregon only: Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda Health, TRICARE/TriWest, Oregon Health Plan — Open Card (fee-for-service)
Insurance participation can change, so please contact the office or your plan to confirm your coverage and in-network status before your visit.
Do you accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP)?
Yes — we accept OHP Open Card (fee-for-service) only. We are not in network with OHP coordinated care organizations (CCOs). If you're not sure whether you have Open Card or a CCO plan, check your member ID card or call OHP — or contact the office and we can help you figure it out.
What if you're out of network with my plan?
You may still be able to be seen using out-of-network benefits. We can provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible partial reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network coverage and deductible.
Do you accept FSA/HSA?
Yes. We accept most FSA and HSA cards on major payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). Receipts and superbills are available for your records.
PMHNP vs Psychiatrist: what's the difference?
Both PMHNPs and psychiatrists assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions with medication and psychotherapy.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am trained in a holistic, person-centered nursing model. Psychiatrists follow a medical model through physician training.
What is integrative psychiatry?
I think of integrative psychiatry as combining evidence-based traditional treatments, like medications, with complementary approaches that support overall well-being.
That can include psychotherapy, nutraceuticals through our Fullscript partnership, lifestyle changes, and attention to mind–body–environment connections, as well as many other modalities.
Do you provide psychotherapy?
Yes.
I provide psychotherapy as part of care when it is appropriate, often integrated with medication management.
Where are you located? Do you offer telehealth?
In-person visits are available at two locations:
- Arizona: 2 N Central Ave., Ste. 1800, Phoenix, AZ 85004
- Oregon: 555 SE MLK Blvd, Unit 105, Portland, OR 97214
Secure telehealth appointments are available across Arizona and Oregon when clinically appropriate and allowed by state and payer rules.
How do I get started?

We'll briefly review your needs, then schedule an initial consultation and guide you through the intake steps.
Can you prescribe controlled medications via telemedicine?
Sometimes — controlled medications can be prescribed via telemedicine when it is clinically appropriate and allowed by current federal and state regulations.
The rules change, so this is decided case by case based on current laws and professional standards.
How do we communicate between sessions?
Between sessions, you can reach me directly with brief questions or updates through secure messaging or by phone — you won't be routed through layers of staff to get an answer. Response times and any fees for extended messaging or clinical time outside of visits are outlined in my practice policies and discussed with you ahead of time.
Do you complete paperwork for FMLA, disability, or school?
Yes. We're happy to discuss potential accommodations based on your needs and level of impairment. Forms are billed based on the time required to complete them, and any fees are explained in advance.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Not at this time. I keep my rates consistent and transparent for all patients.
If cost is a concern, I'm happy to provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and you're welcome to discuss payment questions with the office directly.
